Yoga Movement is Medicine

I believe yoga is a whole body experience including the brain and physical body. Incorporating
breath and movement has an ability to bring an uninterrupted focus that is meditative, spiritual and emotional. I wholeheartedly advocate “feel good” yoga in that if a posture instructed doesn’t feel good, you should back away from that area and just stay in stillness wherever is most comfortable. I teach a variety of yoga classes that can target the general population. I also teach teenage specific classes, Yin yoga, Iyengar inspired but my favorite classes to teach are general public, first timer yoga classes.

The physical practice of yoga was developed to quiet the jitters and silence the anxious energy of an active, healthy moving body to prepare it for the stillness of a centered mind. The first two steps of the 8 Limbed Path of Yoga are the Yamas and The Niyamas - this is the yoga of the mind, or at least a good start to learning it. SEMI-PRIVATE SESSION

You and a friend or 9 for an hour of yoga. Need help on a specific muscle group? Want some "down time" in a yin class? You decide!

PRIVATE YOGA CLASS

This appointment is approx 90 minutes long and includes 60 minutes of movement at a minimum.  Typically, clients enjoy targeting a peak pose or have a theme of strength, relaxation, or flexibility.

This can be performed at your home, beach or at Mind Body Soul Center in Pawleys Island, SC

​

Note - I can bring props to you or we can use your own blocks, straps, bolsters, and sandbags.

​

Great for wedding parties, premarital bonding, beach house stays and wellness weekends with friends.

MEDITATION

A yoga class is nothing without some quiet time to reflect and absorb the movement of the practice. Learn to sit in stillness happily, while giving yourself that much-needed "me time" during this 6-week course. We can meet online or in-person but, the class is best when in a mini group.

YOGA CEU's

As a yoga instructor, I can provide private classes, group classes and I offer continuing education courses also.

I am a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Program as well as an eRYT-500. Courses that I offer are Intermittent Fasting, Meditation and Ritual Evolution to get early stagnation moving again.
