Service Description
Join Chrissie for a members only hour long yoga class at The Litchfield By The Sea. Props are limited so if you have your own yoga mat, blocks or straps, please bring them. What to expect: Arrive about 15 minutes early to pay and get set up and talk to Chrissie. If you have a pre existing chronic injury that has flared up, it's wise to mention it so options and alternatives can be structured within the class. The first 5-10 minutes of this 60 minute yoga class are meant for easing into the practice and centering. Generally, this is accompanied by a reading, guided visualizations and breath-work (pranayama). The middle 35-45 minutes is the active movement time where Chrissie will sequence positions and poses in a "flow" - don't think 10 squats, 10 lunges and 10 pushups! Think of a more melodic physical body dance where you are breathing and moving in unison. The last 10-15 minutes is a slow progression to the floor where ultimate relaxation is achieved by slower, fuller movements and a guided relaxation from your toes to the crown of your head. The last 5 minutes is called svasana and that's your "yoga nap time" where you can lie flat on your back, eyes closed, listening to the music and venturing into a meditative state. The class closing will complete the class, seal up the energy and community and social time can begin.

Please allow 24 hours advance from Start Date notice for cancellations NOT PENALIZED. Cancellations that are within a 24 hour window will be charged 50% of the paid for fee. Subala LLC has the right to refuse clients who repeatedly cancel. Full refunds unavailable.
