Thank you to everyone who sent in their questions on Instagram, Facebook, email and in-person — The influx of new followers has been great and I am happy to answer any questions.

Make sure to follow my personal account on Instagram @yogitrainer and also my business account @subala843 If Facebook is more your scene, I’m at www.facebook.com/subala843 I’d say you could subscribe to my emails but we all know I don’t send very many of them.. You can ask questions on any of those social media platforms!

Questions

Q1: What qualifications and certifications do you hold?

I am a graduate of Illinois State University, class of 2008 and I have a Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Recreation with a concentration in athletic training. That makes me a Board Certified Athletic Trainer. Since then, I have acquired my 200Hr and 500 HR Registered Yoga Teaching Certifications and became a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program. In addition to that, I have a Certified Personal Training and Fitness Nutrition Specialization from The National Academy of Sports Medicine.

I also went to CCRE for real estate school and became a notary because of that but I don't practice real estate. I use my notary to marry people and I just married off my third couple June 3 weekend!

Q2.What types of clients or populations do you specialize in?

I specialize in student athletes for injury prevention

I love working with middle aged group to gain strength and flexibility especially those who say "I can't do yoga because I can't touch my _____"

Q3: How many years of experience do you have in the health and fitness industry?

Roughly about 15!

Check back at the end of the month for more!
