First 3 Questions

Can you help with creating workout routines for different fitness levels and goals?

Of course! That's what I do best! We talk about your fitness goals before our in person sessions start and typically our first appointment is about observation and me understanding your range of motion, ability and strength v flexibility. After a few sets and reps of common movements we talk about the level of ease versus discomfort and go from there! Typically every 4 weeks we increase weights, repetitions or duration.

How do you handle setbacks or plateaus in clients' progress?

Life happens. There are some things that are out of our control and there are some times where we just need to relax and enjoy the moment. I am not a nagging coach - more like the bff type. I will be thrilled if you have a chance to go to Paris for 2 weeks or get to stay with your grand baby out of state! I have a video library that clients have access to so they can work out while out of town to help overcome some obstacles but that doesn't always work. I always want to be the rock and the stable one so when clients come back and are ready to start up again, I am here with open doors.

Do you have experience working with individuals with specific medical conditions or limitations?

I am experienced in treating clients with many orthopedic injuries not limited to ligament tears and total joint replacement. I have worked with clients with eating disorders, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, vertigo, generic low back pain, piriformis syndrome, plantar fasciitis, trochanteric bursitis, tennis elbow and many many more!

If you are looking for a way to learn how to set boundaries with your schedule, food choices or even more discipline with your workouts or time management, The Yoga Health Club might be for you. I don't know anything who wouldn't be a good candidate actually. In the Yoga Health Club we move from surviving and just barely getting by to thriving in our own bodies, our own environment and we take back and redefine what HEALTH is, together.
